This is my first time to participate in the work studio, which makes me meet friends during the special journey. As a student majored in urban design, I met two points in this program. I try to communicate with others who majored in architecture to explore creative renovation ways in old area. Secondly, I need to work with students in different cultures to explore new model about community development. In total, I benefited a lot from this program. What impressed me best is we have different points about renovate the research, German students pay more attention about social networks, economic activities than spatial form. The process of cooperation is a mutual learning process with sparks, accompanied by the understanding of the planning, the issue of switching angles about thinking and other issues in depth. During this visit, we had the opportunity to visit such innovative projects as Media Harbor, riverbank recreation belt renovation, AQ court renovation and KO-BOGEN etc. All showed the innovative German renewal model. Distribution of the use of waste materials building facilities on the road, and garbage classification and so on are passing the concept of sustainable urban development, These are undoubtedly experiences that our country should learn in exploring the road to sustainable urban renewal. I am so glad to participate in this design, it is a wonderful learning time, I will never forget it.
