I really appreciate the opportunity to attend this learning studio. What I have learned include two aspects. The first is the holistic view of planning. Compared with urban planning, my major landscape architecture always puts more emphasis on the specific design of the space, but the task of the workshop made me more familiar with the overall analysis from a wide viewing angle. The second is the integrated problem-solving ability based on coordination which is the most interesting thing I think. Different perspectives from two countries make me learn the new way to treat the urban issues and find the solution. This difference brought full harvest after a while to get it together.

As my second time to Germany, we visited several representative cities. Despite of different national conditions, we learned German approaches and ideas for urban renewal like the fusion between modern spirit and traditional culture. It's thought-provoking to make clear how to make the cities more adaptable to inhabitation and future development requirement on their own ways.

Thanks all the professors again for giving us so much help.
